The Brown Renfro Exhibition exists because generations of artists, educators, students, family members, and supporters chose to preserve and share their stories.
Today, you can help carry that work forward.
What began as a family effort to preserve the artistic legacies of Professor Leon Renfro and artist Bruce Brown has grown into a larger mission to connect communities through art, history, education, and cultural storytelling. Through museum exhibitions, educational programming, research, archival preservation, and the Brown Renfro Traveling Exhibition Trailer, we are bringing these stories directly to communities, schools, libraries, churches, museums, and cultural events.
Your support helps fund exhibition development, archival preservation, transportation, installation, educational materials, research, programming, and community outreach. Every contribution helps us continue uncovering, preserving, and sharing important stories that might otherwise be lost to time.
Whether your contribution is large or small, every gift makes a difference and helps ensure that these artistic and cultural legacies continue to educate, inspire, and connect future generations.
Thank you for believing in this work and helping us carry it forward
